Position Overview

Shana Nelson State Farm is hiring a full-time Remote Sales Representative in San Jose, CA to join a supportive, professional sales team. We invest in our team’s success through training, ongoing development, and a work environment built around growth and collaboration. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. You can live anywhere in the U.S. as long as you keep California (Pacific Time) business hours.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships through consultative conversations about coverage needs
  • Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
  • Participate in product training and licensing coursework
  • Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system

Qualifications

  • Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
  • Driven to keep outreach going day after day without being told
  • State Farm agency experience a plus
  • Must hold active Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses; unlicensed applications cannot be considered
  • Must be able to keep California (Pacific Time) working hours
  • Fast, reliable internet and a distraction-free home office setup
  • A positive teammate who takes coaching well

Pay range: $50,000-$85,000 per year

This includes base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Your earning potential grows with your sales performance — top performers exceed this range.
