Finance Manager, Program Launch Execution

<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Amazon is building new fulfillment networks and you will be the finance leader making sure they pencil out, get funded, and launch on time. This role owns site-level financial modeling, capital funding, and execution handoffs for multi-year network build-outs spanning multiple fulfillment organizations. A successful Finance Manager will showcase a high degree of ownership and will be able to independently partner cross-functionally to deliver results. The manager must be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, judgement and ability to influence business partners.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Build and maintain site-level financial models for new fulfillment network launches, including pro-forma P&L, payback analysis, and sensitivity scenarios</li><li> Own the CAR funding process for new sites: prepare financial packages, drive partner alignment, and shepherd requests through approval workflows</li><li> Conduct tradeoff analysis on site locations, building configurations, and co-location opportunities across fulfillment networks</li><li> Track capital spend against approved budgets during construction and ramp, reporting actuals and variance to plan</li><li> Manage financial handoffs from business case approval through site launch to the operational finance teams providing ongoing FP&A support</li><li> Coordinate with network finance, CAPEX, GES, and Real Estate teams on site investment alignment, due diligence scoping, and pre-construction financial inputs</li><li> Support the network-level business case by providing site-specific data, validating assumptions, and escalating risks that affect program-level paybacks</li><li> Contribute to OP and guidance cycle deliverables (WBR, MEC) as they relate to new network launches and capital deployment<br><br></li></ul><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>This role sits within a team that supports operations finance and new network program launches. The team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and business partnering on operations cost for Amazon Business, while also owning the business case and funding support for new network programs that span multiple fulfillment organizations. We are actively launching new fulfillment networks over a multi-year horizon, and this role is part of a team focused on those supporting the business case alignment with execution plans for those launches.
