Part-Time Warehouse Associate II (Day Shift)

<strong>Your Impact<br><br></strong>The Warehouse Associate II is primarily responsible for working in our Receiving department, picking, pulling, receiving, labeling, and stocking purchase orders within the specified amount of time. The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for handling product safely and in accordance with best methods to maintain product quality.<br><br><strong>Schedule:</strong> This facility operates day shifts between <strong>7:00 AM and 5:00 PM</strong>. Please note that <strong>evening and overnight shifts are not currently available</strong> at this location.<br><br><strong><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Uses power equipment (e.g., forklift) to unload deliveries for trucks, organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas</li><li>Efficiently and accurately receive purchase orders, checking for damaging and comparing purchase orders with invoices and/or packaging lists</li><li>Accurately pulls products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements</li><li>Packs and stages completed purchase orders for delivery</li><li>Verifies accuracy of items picked from warehouse shelves and staged for delivery by other warehouse associates</li><li>Achieves or exceeds performance expectations by completing all receiving tasks efficiently and effectively</li><li>Trained and performs tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and/or helping with deliveries, as assigned by management</li><li>Individual Contributor<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>High School or GED General Studies or Trade School Graduate</li><li>1-2 Years Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience</li><li>Physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility, lift up to 40 pounds, and operate power equipment. </li><li>Adherence to safety protocols, wearing necessary personal protective equipment. </li><li>Ability to work in varying conditions, from extreme temperatures to noisy environments. </li><li>Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or within a team. <br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Preferred Skills/Education<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)</li><li>Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environment</li><li>Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>About Lowe’s<br><br></strong></strong>Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
