Virtual Health Technician II

<p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin 2450 Peoria, US:CO:Aurora</p> <p>Department: UCHlth Safety View</p> <p>FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Three 12 hour shifts per week.</p> <p>Day shifts are available from 7 am. to 7:30 pm.</p> <p>Pay: $20.15 – $30.22 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience</p> <p>This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.</p> <p>Summary: Monitors patients on telemetry devices and monitors at-risk patients on Safety View devices.</p> <p>Responsibilities: </p> <ul> <li>Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings. Reports and documents findings.</li> <li>Recognizes, intervenes, reports and documents abnormal findings or at-risk behavior during monitoring. Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and charting documentation in EMR.</li> <li>Greets patients, answers phone calls and assists health care team with patient visits.</li> <li>Performs clerical tasks as needed.</li> <li>Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required. </li> </ul> <p>We improve lives.
