Remote HubSpot Implementation Specialist

About Mpathic
Mpathic is America's premier consultative Contact Center solutions provider, founded in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. We blend cutting-edge technology with genuine empathy to deliver exceptional service to premium brands and public sector partners. Our mission is to humanize communication, fostering trust and loyalty through reliable, value-driven interactions. Specializing in omnichannel CCaaS, staff augmentation for customer support, IT help desks, and sales teams, we boast industry-leading metrics like >90% First Call Resolution. We hire based on Character, Aptitude, and Experience-U.S. citizens who thrive in our virtue-led culture, innovating solutions that truly connect.

We are scaling our HubSpot Solutions Partner practice, and we are hiring a HubSpot Implementation Specialist to help us do it. You will work directly under our Solutions Architect, translating solution designs into working HubSpot instances for our clients. Migrations are a core part of the job - moving clients off Salesforce, legacy CRMs, and disconnected point tools, and landing their data in HubSpot cleanly, without losing history or breaking reporting.

This is client-facing, project-based work. You will move from engagement to engagement, often supporting several clients at once, each with a different data model, tech stack, and definition of "done." The variety is the point. If you want to build the same instance over and over, this is not the role. If you want to see thirty different businesses solve the same problems thirty different ways, it is.

We are also looking for someone who does not intend to be a HubSpot specialist forever. As our practice grows, so does the surface area we support - adjacent CRMs, integration and iPaaS platforms, data tooling, and analytics. We will invest in training you on those systems, and we expect you to want it.

What You'll Do

• Build out HubSpot instances to spec under the direction of our Solutions Architect: objects, properties, pipelines, lifecycle stages, workflows, permissions, and reporting.

• Plan and execute data migrations into HubSpot, including extraction, field mapping, deduplication, validation, and post-migration reconciliation.

• Configure automation across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Operations Hub to match documented client processes.

• Stand up integrations between HubSpot and client systems using native connectors, iPaaS tools, and the HubSpot API where required.

• Audit inherited portals and document what exists, what is broken, and what should be retired.

• Test rigorously before handoff - validate record counts, automation logic, and reporting accuracy rather than assuming the build is correct.

• Produce clear client-facing documentation and deliver training so client teams can operate what you built.

• Participate in client calls: gather requirements, demo work in progress, and translate technical constraints into language a non-technical stakeholder understands.

• Track time accurately across concurrent projects and flag scope creep early.

• Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and reusable assets that make the next implementation faster than the last.

Requirements

• Active HubSpot certification. At minimum we expect the Marketing Hub Software and/or Sales Hub Software certification; Revenue Operations and Reporting certifications are strong additions. Credentials must be current - HubSpot certifications expire, and we expect you to keep yours live.

• 2+ years of hands-on HubSpot configuration experience, including at least one implementation or migration you personally executed.

• Demonstrated data migration experience: field mapping, deduplication, import and export at volume, and cleanup of messy source data.

• Working command of HubSpot's data model - objects, associations, properties, and how a decision made during setup constrains reporting later.

• Strong spreadsheet skills for data transformation work.

• Comfort supporting multiple clients simultaneously and switching context without dropping details.

• Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.

• Genuine interest in learning systems beyond HubSpot.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience at a HubSpot Solutions Partner agency or in a consulting environment.

• Salesforce-to-HubSpot migration experience specifically.

• Operations Hub experience, including custom-coded workflow actions.

• Familiarity with iPaaS tools (Zapier, Make, Workato) or direct work with the HubSpot API.

• Enterprise-tier HubSpot experience: custom objects, business units, advanced permissions.

• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data transformation.

• Exposure to adjacent GTM tooling - enrichment, sales engagement, marketing automation, BI.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
