Project Manager, Operational Readiness Support

This individual contributor role provides task coordination and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle by maintaining project plans and documentation, tracking milestones and dependencies, monitoring risks and action items, and following up on assigned deliverables. The role works with business, operations, technology, training, communications, and other project partners to help ensure readiness activities remain organized, are completed on schedule, and are escalated to project leadership when additional support or decisions are needed.<br><br><strong>Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Support operational readiness and implementation activities for projects affecting business operations, technology, training, communications, and service delivery.</li><li>Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, task assignments, action items, and status reports to support organized and timely execution.</li><li>Track readiness deliverables across stakeholder groups and follow up on outstanding tasks, dependencies, due dates, and commitments.</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, risk and issue logs, decision records, implementation plans, and lessons learned.</li><li>Monitor project risks, issues, roadblocks, and overdue items and escalate concerns to project leadership as appropriate.</li><li>Provide scheduling, meeting preparation, resource coordination, and other administrative support for project and readiness activities.</li><li>Compile project updates, dashboards, summaries, and status communications using information provided by project owners and workstream partners.</li><li>Assist with implementation planning, readiness reviews, launch activities, and post-implementation follow-up.</li><li>Coordinate task-level activities with training, communications, operations, workforce management, technology, and other partner teams.</li><li>Support change adoption activities by organizing communications, training materials, process documentation, and readiness resources.</li><li>Ensure project management tools and tracking systems are current and accurately reflect task status, milestones, owners, dependencies, and next steps.</li><li>Apply established project management standards, templates, and processes to support consistency across initiatives.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3-5 years of relevant project coordination, project support, implementation support, or project management experience.</li><li>At least 3 years of experience creating project plans, task tracking, milestone monitoring, risk and issue logs, resource coordination, and status reporting.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or progress toward a recognized project management credential.</li><li>Experience supporting operational readiness, implementation, technology, healthcare, or behavioral health initiatives.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.</li><li>Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms.</li><li>Working knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making practices.</li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and tracking tools.</li><li>Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, follow up on commitments, and meet established deadlines.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document updates, clarify assignments, and escalate concerns.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide reliable support in an individual contributor role.</li><li>Experience using project management or work-tracking tools and standard productivity applications.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Education<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Anticipated Weekly Hours<br><br></strong>40<br><br><strong>Time Type<br><br></strong>Full time<br><br><strong>Pay Range<br><br></strong><strong>The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is<br><br></strong>$46,988.00 - $112,200.00<br><br>This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.<br><br>Our people fuel our future.
