Supports operational functions of variety of production lines during work shift.<br><br><ul><li> Great Starting Pay $15.00 </li><li> 6:30 AM-3:00 PM </li><li> Longevity Bonus (5 Yrs/$5000, 10 Yrs/$10,000, 15 Yrs/$15,000, etc.) </li><li> Company Profit Sharing (After 6 Mo of F/T Employment) </li><li> First Pay Review After 6 Months </li><li> Free Company Products (Monthly voucher currently equal to $100/month value - $1200/year) </li><li> Company Sponsored Employee Appreciation Events </li><li> Healthy Work Life Balance </li><li> Clean Indoor Climate Controlled Environment </li><li> Opportunities to Promote </li><li> No Layoffs </li><li> Safe/All Natural Product Line <br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Essential<br><br></strong></strong><strong> Responsibilities <br><br></strong><ul><li> Sets up work area by retrieving and staging production components (i.e., bottles, lids, pallets, bulk, bags, cartons, etc.), loading components into machinery, preparing inventory tracking paperwork for the finished product on the production line, etc. </li><li> Hangs sacks of powder using crane hoist system. </li><li> Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) where required and follows lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures where necessary. </li><li> Works at assigned station to assist in producing finished goods. (i.e. placing scoops into jars, filling and palletizing totes, labeling totes with required information, moving and loading pallets to the correct areas with use of a pallet jack, etc.) </li><li> Inspect finished products to ensure they pass company standards. Lifts totes/boxes of finished product onto pallets, tables, or shelves. </li><li> Performs clean-up duties including washing various equipment, sweeping & mopping floors, emptying garbage cans, wiping down walls, using a scissor lift to clean out-of-reach areas, etc. </li><li> Supports equipment changeover and setup processes as directed by the Machine Operator or Coordinator including, but not limited to, tear down, reassembly, and setup of certain pieces of machinery. </li><li> Inspects quality of finished goods for proper label placement, tight lids/seals, correct/legible lot code, etc. and performs necessary tasks to ensure any issues are addressed and corrected. </li><li> Multi-task during production process to ensure any issue on production line is quickly and urgently corrected or reported to Operator/Coordinator for correction. </li><li> Assists in training other associates as needed by demonstrating tasks, answering questions, etc. </li><li> Performs other necessary duties as assigned. </li><li> Assists in the product delivery department as needed. </li><li> Assists in machine tear down, cleaning and set-up, etc. </li><li> Takes direction from the Machine Operator/Coordinator to assist where needed. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Additional<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li> Performs other duties as assigned or needed. </li><li> Assists in Product Delivery Department when needed. </li><li> Assists in machine tear down, cleaning and set-up, etc. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Essential<br><br></strong></strong><strong> Qualifications </strong> Ability to certify and operate a scissor lift to assist in cleaning and changeover processes. <br><br><ul><li></li><ul><li> Ability to work independently. </li><li> Ability to work with little to no direction while staying on task. </li><li> Written and verbal communication skills. </li><li> Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. + consistently for eight (8) hours. </li><li> Must be able to lift boxes/totes from the floor to a pallet or table. </li><li> Ability to operate mechanical equipment. </li><li> Standing and/or walking for duration of 8-hour shift. </li><li> Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift. </li><li> Ability to organize and coordinate projects. </li><li> Visually read bottles, product, lot numbers, perform inspections, etc. </li><li> Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc. </li><li> Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.) </li><li> Good math comprehension skills to solve mathematical problems and complete assigned paperwork. </li><li> Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency, speed and accuracy. <br><br><br></li></ul></ul><strong><strong>Additional<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li> Work overtime as needed. </li><li> Ability to climb stairs. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong> Why Melaleuca <br><br></strong>Melaleuca is one of the leading Health and Wellness companies in the world.
