Telehealth Nurse Practitioner — PRN / As-Needed (New York, 100% Remote)
Medora Health Group is a New York-based, technology-enabled healthcare organization providing primary care, Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and Chronic Care Management (CCM) to adults and seniors. We're building a flexible network of licensed New York Nurse Practitioners who want to see additional telehealth patients around their existing schedule — no fixed shifts, no minimum hours required.
This is not a traditional full-time or part-time role. It's a PRN / as-needed opportunity designed for NPs who already have a primary job and want to earn additional income during evenings, days off, or open gaps in their week.
How it works: You tell us when you're available. We schedule patients into those windows whenever we have demand. You can accept or decline patient opportunities as they come up — there's no obligation to be "on call" or on unpaid standby.

COMPENSATION
Compensation is per completed telehealth visit:
- $75.00 for each successfully completed telehealth visit lasting more than thirty-four (34) minutes, up to one (1) hour
- $35.00 for each successfully completed telehealth visit lasting thirty-four (34) minutes or less
In practice, that works out to roughly $70–$75 per clinical hour depending on visit mix — two short visits in an hour, or one longer visit.
Providers are paid for completed patient visits. Cancellations and no-shows are handled separately and are not compensated as completed telehealth visits. You're never asked to work an unpaid shift, but pay is tied to visits that actually take place.
This structure is what allows us to offer a flexible, no-minimum-commitment schedule: you're paid for the clinical work you do, on your terms, without being locked into fixed hours.
Rates reflect target per-visit compensation, are not a guaranteed wage, and do not imply a guaranteed number of hours or patients. Medora reserves the right to adjust compensation rates at its discretion. All compensation is subject to any and all applicable deductions authorized or required by law.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide telehealth primary care visits to adult and senior patients within your scope of practice and NY licensure
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits via video/telehealth platform
- Complete all required charting and documentation for each patient encounter, accurately and promptly, in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Communicate your available time slots to Medora on an ongoing basis
- Respond promptly and reliably once you've accepted a scheduled patient appointment
- Coordinate care as appropriate with Medora's broader RPM/CCM care team
- Maintain compliance with all applicable New York State and federal telehealth regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Active, unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Appropriate board certification for adult or primary care practice
- Comfortable and experienced delivering care via telehealth
- Strong, timely clinical documentation habits
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Reliable and responsive once a patient appointment is accepted
Preferred
- Experience with AthenaHealth EMR
- Prior telehealth or virtual care experience
- Experience with Chronic Care Management (CCM) or Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs
SCHEDULE
- PRN / as-needed — this is not a fixed-schedule position
- No required weekly hours and no guaranteed minimum hours
- You provide your available time windows; we schedule patients into them when possible
- Occasional last-minute patient opportunities may be offered based on your stated availability
- You may accept or decline additional patient opportunities at your discretion
- Ideal for NPs balancing another job who want to fill in evenings, days off, or open blocks of time
PRN STRUCTURE
This is a PRN (as-needed), piece-rate position compensated per completed visit rather than by shift or salary. That means:
