Junior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our marketing team to help with creating Client Mockups, designing Email campaigns, Social Media Post updating Web Pages. You are self-driven with a hands-on attitude, collaborative, organized, and able to flourish in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate should be able to independently organize and prioritize your workload, clearly communicate with team members on tasks and should have a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities for our ideal Junior Graphic Designer includes:

Tasks:

  • You will work closely with the Creative Director and other Team Members to Create Materials for both Web & Print Promotions.
  • Create Graphics and Design Layouts for Flyers, Email Newsletters, PowerPoints, Web, Digital Ads, Blogs, and Social media campaigns.
  • Incorporate UI/UX best practices in Website Design and Layout.
  • Create Mockups and Prep Files for Print and Other Publications.
  • Create Visual Elements such as Logos, Original Images, and Illustrations to help Deliver a Message.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excel, Word, Google Docs
  • Ability to work with basic HTML/CSS to make page updates
  • Must be consistently productive and have the ability to manage your time.
  • Accuracy and File Organizational Skills.
  • Outstanding Verbal and Written Communication.
  • Grammar, Spelling and Proofreading Skills.
  • Professional, Responsible and Resourceful.
  • Passion for Creativity.
  • Must be able to Actively Listen to others in order to Obtain a Clear Understanding of Projects.

Candidates should possess:

  • Prior experience creating graphics and a solid grasp of user interface design for web.
  • Beyond Basic working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of the design process. Understands typography principles and color theory. Can successfully work on different projects simultaneously at any given time.
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment.
  • Ability to follow direction and learn as you go
