Engineering Recruiter

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Engineering Recruiter to join our growing recruiting team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying, engaging, and placing highly skilled engineering professionals across advanced manufacturing and related industries.

Our clients operate in technically sophisticated and evolving markets, including industrial automation, semiconductor manufacturing, data center infrastructure, and other advanced manufacturing sectors. We seek a proven recruiter who combines proactive sourcing capabilities with strong client relationship management and owns the recruiting process from intake through placement.

This is a delivery-focused, client-facing recruiting role—not a business development position.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for primarily direct-hire/permanent-placement engineering and technical positions, from client intake through successful placement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients during the recruiting process, building relationships and providing proactive updates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, organizational needs, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Recruit across mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, process, automation, controls, systems, and related engineering disciplines.
  • Support searches from experienced individual contributors and technical specialists to engineering managers and senior engineering leaders.
  • Interview and assess candidates; present qualified talent; coordinate interviews, feedback, and offers.
  • Provide clients with market intelligence and guidance on talent availability, compensation, and recruiting strategy.
  • Collaborate with account management and recruiting colleagues while maintaining accurate ATS/CRM records.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success recruiting engineering and technical professionals, preferably within a third-party staffing, recruiting, or search firm.
  • Experience delivering direct-hire/permanent-placement searches and engaging passive candidates rather than relying primarily on applications.
  • Experience working directly with clients and hiring managers, managing expectations, and serving as a trusted recruiting partner.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial technology, or related technical environments.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and other sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, relationship-building, and follow-through; ability to manage multiple searches independently.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and results-oriented approach in a remote team environment.

Experience That Would Set You Apart

  • Recruiting experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, industrial automation, data center infrastructure, or related growth industries.
  • Placements of senior engineers, principal engineers, engineering managers, controls engineers, and commissioning engineers.
  • Demonstrated client ownership and success filling difficult, specialized engineering positions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven agency recruiting environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, annual comp from 90k to 200k+ depending on individual productivity.
  • Fully remote opportunity anywhere in the United States.
  • Challenging, high-value engineering searches across innovative industries.
  • Collaborative team environment with an emphasis on recruiting excellence and client service.
  • Ownership of the recruiting process without responsibility for generating new business.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and increased earnings through individual performance.
