Your responsibilities will encompass working with equipment like generators, transformers, switchboards, and motors, interpreting blueprints and drawings, troubleshooting electrical failures, and using measurement and testing instruments.</p><p><b>Pay Rate: $50.27/hr</b></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b><br><b>Essential Job Duties:</b><br><ul><li>Conduct electrical maintenance at voltages less than 600 volts.</li><li>Read and interpret wiring diagrams to identify failures.</li><li>Troubleshoot and ascertain root causes of electrical issues.</li><li>Plan and layout work based on blueprints, drawings, or verbal/written instructions.</li><li>Identify and document any necessary field alterations.</li><li>Organize work tasks to meet deadlines.</li><li>Participate in outages and submit requests as needed.</li><li>Respond to urgent site maintenance needs.</li><li>Fulfill on-call and preventive maintenance duties as required.</li><li>Participate in periodic stock inventories and prepare requests for replacement materials.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party vendors on electrical tasks.</li><li>Support departmental staff and assist other trade groups as needed.</li><li>Adhere to company safety and personnel policies.</li><li>Carry out other assigned tasks, including support for CMMS and various departments.</li></ul></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br><ul><li>Engage professionally with diverse individuals in varied situations.</li><li>Exhibit mature judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.</li></ul></p><p><b>Job Requirements</b><br><b>Mandatory:</b><br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent GED.</li><li>Experience in commercial electrical services and maintenance.</li><li>Journeyman Electrician license.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of electrical tools and instruments.</li><li>Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems independently.</li><li>Solid understanding of applicable codes and standards.</li><li>Basic mathematical skills as required.</li><li>Ability to clear pre-hire background and drug screenings.</li><li>U.S. Citizenship is required.</li><li>Must possess required intelligence community level clearance.</li><li>Valid Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.</li><li>Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b><br><ul><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul></p><p><b>Working Conditions:</b><br><ul><li>Willingness to work overtime as necessary.</li><li>Travel required up to 20% of the time.</li></ul></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b><br><ul><li>Capability to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift up to 75 pounds.</li></ul></p><p><b>Disclosures</b><br><br>Chugach Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
