Director, Project Management Office – PMO

Job Description:

  • Establish and lead a centralized PMO function, including frameworks, tools, and standards for project intake, prioritization, execution, and reporting.
  • Define and enforce project governance, including stage gates, documentation standards, risk management, and escalation protocols.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio view of all active initiatives, aligned to executive priorities and resource capacity.

  • Develop and manage integrated program plans and timelines.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
  • Lead project management for acquisitions, including integration planning and execution across systems, people, and processes.

  • Evaluate and implement PM tools and systems to support visibility, collaboration, and reporting.
  • Continuously refine PMO processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency.
  • Drive a culture of disciplined execution without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Work with our Operations team to help develop our internal project managers and construction project coordinators. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure consistent execution quality across all projects.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and bring structure to loosely defined problems.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Agile), with a pragmatic approach to application.
  • Experience with PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple related projects simultaneously and within budget.

Benefits:
