Job Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Rotation Position in LA, where you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations through versatile task execution and equipment handling in an industrial bread production company.
- Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient production while maintaining minimal downtime, waste, and product loss.
- Monitor line performance to maintain established production rates and quality standards.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Read, understand, and execute daily production schedules
- Assist with product changeovers and line startup activities.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and promptly address & communicate any issues affecting quality or efficiency to your supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and team performance.
- Load ingredients weighing up to 55 pounds into mixers, sifters, and other processing equipment.
- Load packaging materials and finished goods weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Palletize ingredients and finished products according to company standards
- Perform daily line inspections and equipment reviews to verify machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
- Identify equipment deficiencies and communicate repair needs to Maintenance and Production Management.
- Notify Quality Assurance, Supervisors, or Maintenance personnel of any food safety, quality, or workplace safety concerns.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities and equipment sanitation as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Participate in workplace safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), emergency response procedures, fire safety, and safety audits.
- Support sanitation programs and ensure production areas meet cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Perform other duties as required to support production and middle warehouse.
- Effective verbal, written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Management personnel.
- Ability to accurately complete production records, checklists, and related documentation.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
