What You'll Do
As a Patient Care Representative, you'll be a trusted point of contact for patients, their families, insurance representatives, and referring healthcare provider offices. Every interaction is a chance to provide clear guidance and genuine support, often during a stressful time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Professionally answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and provider offices
- Make outbound calls to welcome new patients and assist with scheduling or rescheduling appointments
- Listen carefully to understand each caller's needs and provide accurate, clear information
- Adjust your tone and approach to fit the caller — professional and precise with provider offices, warm and empathetic with patients and families
- Partner with internal teams to help resolve scheduling, benefits, and account questions
- Accurately document every interaction while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Use good judgment to resolve issues, knowing when to bring in a colleague for more complex situations
