Inbound Sales Representative - SMB SaaS

About the position

MarketStar is seeking a highly motivated, consultative sales professional to join our team as an Inbound Inside Sales Representative supporting our newest SaaS team in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will interact with small businesses across a variety of industries through inbound phone and chat channels, building rapport, understanding each customer's unique workflows, and providing needs-based recommendations for product solutions. You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding the client’s footprint with existing customers, all while meeting productivity and performance-based sales metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Working with target SMB customers to provide consultation on the solutions they would benefit from and closing the sale of recommended solutions and services
  • Lead a customer outreach process that will include calls and emails with the intent of building and managing external customer relationships with continued account support
  • Use client provided and self- guided training resources to stay up to date on knowledge of the product
  • Use data to manage, review and report on pipeline to manager each week, which includes a forecast and plan to achieve targets
  • Attain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and performance targets
  • Record customer interactions and engagement in CRM
  • Build and manage both internal MarketStar team and external client counterpart relationships

  • Remain compliant with all business rules as documented in the playbook.
  • Utilize available data and analytics to strategically improve sales outcomes and drive success
  • Internally and externally provide customer sentiment insights including product feedback, key industry learnings, etc.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of successful track record in B2B SaaS or Cloud sales roles preferred, particularly in an IT domain.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions and business value.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations, objections, and concerns when working with customers while maintaining positivity and a strong drive for results.
  • Consistently demonstrate confidence, adaptability, and resilience in tasks and engagements with others.
  • Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions, find creative solutions, and solve problems.
  • Ability to manage time in a structured and organized way to ensure deadlines are met and quotas are obtained.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with teams across the organization
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via phone, virtual, email, presentations and product demonstrations
  • Ability and desire to receive and apply feedback in an effort to improve results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with and multitasking through multiple computer systems, Computer literate and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Tools, CRM’s
